A free 3D Dirt Bike trials game

Trial Motorbikes sets you up in a small series of Dirt Bike trials through different jungle tracks. The scenery and backgrounds are all very similar as they are made with identical segmented pieces (e.g. three tree designs repeated). Each track varies a little and offers a reasonable challenge. This game looks like a piece of college game-design coursework that was published and then amended several times to turn into a fair/average indie game.

    • Bike balancing is slow and even
    • Beat the clock to win gold, silver or bronze
    • Subtle use of distance haze to create perspective
    • Camera angles are wide and suitably high

  • Cons

    • Acceleration up hill is the same as downhill
    • Big jumps feel a little empty and thrill free
    • Small number of tracks and levels
    • The graphics are lacklustre
